Westhab Project

 

Located in the heart of the village, 30 West is a 100% affordable housing development created through a public-private partnership with WestHab to address rising housing costs in Haverstraw and Rockland County. The project will:

 
  • Provide 81 units of affordable housing for households earning between 30% and 60% of area median income
  • Transform a municipal lot into quality housing with parking for residents and spaces for use by the community
  • Feature contextual design that blends with neighborhood character
  • Incorporate green building strategies with 100% electric and high-efficiency building systems
  • Include a 100 kW solar PV array to offset on-site electrical use
